It's finally here. Not that I wanted it to get here quickly. I'm planning on changing my approach to blogging...often short, succinct posts, and occasionally long ones. I want to add photos to my posts and add more things, like quotes.
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Dr. Seuss
Thanx, Doc. And that's the way I feel about this year...what a great year I had. I won't go into it in super detail, but some fantastic things happened. Hate to see it go. I'm a glass-half-full type of person, so 2015 will be just as awesome!
This blog essentially is a place 2nd language learners can come and practice English. My students check it out all the time. Feel free to leave comments on virtually anything.

December...yep 2014
There, I did it again. Posted a year later than the last post. I didn't mean to, really. I really really wanted to post more often during this year. I had it in my mind to post weekly...well, no OK, monthly..well, AT LEAST every 3 months...
And here it is...a year later. I guess that's what happens to most of us. We have good ideas, ideas we want to put forth, blogs we want to put out there, things we want to share. Facebook and Twitter make it really easy to do that; blogging takes a bit more effort. We have to spend the time on the computer actually sitting down and writing something. And this is the problem (for me anyway), finding the time to do it. I don't mind doing it; I never try to make excuses such as I don't have time (haha). But really, it's not an excuse, it's a reason! I used to tell my mom that all the time. Mom, it's not an excuse, it's a reason. That didn't fly most of the time, however. Does it fly with you?
Well, alas, now it really is a year later. And I have time now coz it's winter vacation. So I got all motivated again to sit down and put something out there. This is the result, and I end up publishing the same darn blog post every year about how it's a year later and about how I didn't have time to post the preceding year. And about how I vow to put something MORE on the blogs in the upcoming new year. And I do, want to that is, write useful things to put on this blog. I vow to have my students read this blog more often and make their own blogs. And post more often, and make it a worthwhile experience.
And I don't want to put the same blog on a year from now. So call me on it if I do.
