Winter and Time
Well, it's winter again already. With winter comes cold weather, but it also means the holiday season is upon us. What holidays are around now? Practically every religion around the world has a holiday around now. Even if there are not strong religions involved, there are other celebrations at this time of year, mainly due to the new year season. As time evolves, seasons change, and one year changes into the next. One second passes, one week passes, one month...one year...ten years...one hundred years. This is an interesting phenomenon that we know as humans. When you stop to think about it, it seems rather odd, doesn't it? What exactly is time? It moves ahead, taking us with it. I like to think of it concretely, like a long, invisible line directly in front of us, that's moving along second by second. We don't know what's on the other side of that line, but we keep moving along with it. Eventually we'll come to the next second and the line will move again. The line will keep moving like that, every second moving forward, never stopping, never slowing, endlessly marching into eternity...until when? Well, that's the question, isn't it. It's a question no one will be able to answer any time soon. Perhaps never?
